How we helped Administrative Sales Assistant, Marine, feel more confident when speaking English
Marine is a French Administrative Sales Assistant at Beckhoff Automation; a multinational automation technology company based in Paris. The firm works with clients from both Italy and abroad, many of which predominantly speak English. With efficient communication being a key component for successful relationships with their clientele, Marine needed English to communicate effectively with her colleagues across Europe for sales enquiries, orders and invoicing. Marine’s manager approached class-e to help her improve her fluency when speaking English and develop her confidence, both inside and outside of the workplace.
Why Marine chose class-e
Marine’s goal was to improve her ability to speak and write in English and to develop her understanding – particularly over the phone. She wanted to be able to use English with her international colleagues. Marine had previously tried other English language training - but since joining class-e she now feels that her language abilities have really flourished.

The outcome
Marine has used class-e for the past two years and continues to show amazing progress. At the start of her training, she was very shy, hesitant and intimidated by using a second language. During her two-week immersion course with us in Wales, she progressed enormously. She went from using barely a few words to long, leisurely chats over afternoon tea! She stepped out of her comfort zone and continues to go from strength to strength with her fluency, accuracy and her confidence.
Now, she is very able to manage her communications with her colleagues across Europe, without getting stressed. Our nurturing, empathetic approach helped her see that she always had the ability.
